I'm twenty-two years old who was born in Trinidad and came to the United States of America at the age of five. I graduated high school in three years and received my bachelor's degree in biology at CUNY City College. I'm August, I will be attending Sophie Davis' PA program. I would like to fill the gap of personalized and individualized health care. Also, I inspire to further the understanding and accessibility of LGBT health.

Fun Fact:

I graduated high school at the age of seventeen. I hope to be come a PA that furthers the understanding of LGBT health. I am both a sexual and racial minority.

What advice would you give to future undocumented students applying to graduate programs?

Don't settle for less than you deserve! With DACA, you are able to compete for a spot just as any applicant. Truly use your background and a motivation for where you've come and how it will aid in where you want to be. Pace yourself with the application process and it's okay to feel overwhelmed, call the school for any clarity.
